the third one and the fourth one is also by schecter... but we can't buy... that's why not on their website. the brown guitar he used should be schecter as the headstock is very similar to PT one... maybe it's not a 2008/9 model.. lol

Hmmm.... In my opinion, If you were to buy a 08 version omen extreme FR, Buy the 08 C1-FR instead... 08 omen extreme body made of basswood, 08- C1 body made of mahogany... C-1 pick ups is duncan designed active pups (correct me if i'm wrong synester) but the omen FR is schecter made alnico pickups... So for the 300 bux difff, isn't it kinda obvious which is better? Of course if you dun have money get the cheap 1... like girlpants' problem... but if you have money of course go for SCHECTER HELLRAISER AVENGER!!! Cos It's Superb!!! =)

mahogany n active pups don't equals to better.
basswood and alnico pups don't equals to bad.

if course, actives and mahogany is preferred by rock/metal guitarist. but that doesn't meant that it is better. and to add on, many pickups which are lower output like '59/Seth lover/alnico II pro is much more expensive than those high output pickups like alternative 8. and also, although mahogany is used in gibsons and have that ballsy sound, many guitarist also choose to use basswood.... for their signature guitar.. so there isn't a definition for good or bad for pickups/body.

Okay, what have I missed?

Anyways Zenzo, my thoughts about my Omen Ex. Note that mine is not the FR version.
- The stock pickups are a little noisy and thick in high gains. But well, that may be an advantage or disadvantage to different people.
- The cleans are very good, especially with the coil-split tap. (Yes yes yes, I now know what the push/pull knob serves for)
- I actually liked the clean sounds more that the distorted.
- I noticed my friends who got the Omen Ex decided to change the pickups to SD or Dimarzio which they find the change pretty amazing and later found out that the guitar got much more responsive. I don't know about mine yet cos I'm pretty satisfied with the tone now. Maybe I should play more with it.

Maybe you wanna test the guitars first or watch demo videos before deciding on one. Cos MY opinion may not be similar to what you will experience after getting the Omen.

im a basswood fan, basswood isnt sub quality woood.

Anyways,to add up on Syn's Custom made guitars,has anyone seen the guitar he uses in the video of Beast And The Harlot?He's using a guitar similar to his own guitar now,but instead of white pinstripes,the guitar is black with red pinstripes.Looks amazing to me.Here's the vid.
