Scam and Fake watch

It's 99% original, what more can we ask for?

These threads are aplenty in all forums. Just ignore these sobs and they'll fade away accordingly.

Lol

7 Things I Love About Him!

1) HIS ENGLISH IS "SUPERB!!"

2)Why would anyone in the right mind sell a Jem7v(3k+-4k+) so cheap.. highly suspicous i think everyone would be fooled Unless he told us it has plywood body, Wires used from old radios and lousy electronics (scarly ceramic pickups made from mud.. give you "MUDDY" sound

3)Why does he keep reposting? (Urgent?!?!)

4) My personal Favourite JOKE! Why would I want 10 other guitars if i paid 4k for a dud... Lets put ourself in this situation.. I buy a Counterfeit Tag hauer from this guy(Jem7v) and he says he cant give me the $$ back(I'm Unhappy with screw loses and non responsive time)[In this case awful pickups and cannot stay in tuned strings] but gives me 10 more tag hauer to compenstate me... Why would i want 10x more screw loses and 10x more counterfeits... You cant sell it, you cant trade it etc.

5)No Singapore Number, Wow can we even contact him?

6)Another Big joke, Are High end JEMs made in china and Indonesia? do your research Please..

7)Why he reposts over and over when its sold?(when James asked him for testing he gives a hasty reply of being sold)

What we can expect In the future...

He no longer has jems so expect Rediculously Under priced Gibsons,Fenders,Esp, etc.

So we can expect tons of complains of being scammed etc. from fellow newbies.(facepalms)
___________________________________________________________

Here's an idea, some one lowball him and ask him for testing, take a sound recorder and record the sounds for us....

He's probably a sales rep from some China counterfeit dealers. He's like the guitars he's selling....a piece of China's shit.

the limited time of offer thing would not reflect that it is a scam.

Say I'm in need of cash and I want to let go of some pedals.

I'd usually offer around 10-20 dollars off the pedal if the other person can deal by the weekend.

agree, that alone does not mean it's fake or scam but might be one indicator in addition to a too good to be true offer.

recently, I have been receiving quite a few offers from people overseas. most common ones are with number that are at +62 xxxxxxxxxx So i'm assuming its in indonesia? correct me if i'm wrong.

I'm not too sure about the legitimacy of these guitars offered for sale or they will even offer to buy/trade your guitar.

Most recently i was approached with a gibson les paul custom black beauty as a trade.

This might not be a scam but it sure does sound fishy. I have not found the origins of this user yet. Still waiting for reply from his/her side so i cant really comment on the authenticity of the guitar.

tracking the post of the user...

Then offered to me for trade...

Anyone have encounters with this Gibson les paul custom from user ssstylish?

do share :)

Yeah, that's a really strange price but the seller has more than 80 posts in the forum. Maybe a typo? On the other hand all 335 pictures I saw on the web have a little crown on the headstock and not a diamond shape. The trussrod cover looks also odd. But I am not expert about the different versions.

Btw our friend victorwong is once again selling his 99-100% original JEM.

hedron,

I agree. the diamond logo on the headstock is mainly for the custom series.

335's should spot a logo like this:

INSTEAD OF..

Even if its a BLOCK series or DOT series, it should spot this headstock. Again, correct me if I'm wrong. Just my gather of info from the net.

I think the seller should just state clearly that it's a replica. It may mislead others to think otherwise. Then again, $700 (HIGHLY NEG) for a real gibson ES335 is a far better steal than a $1500 Ibanez Jem7v.

I sent him a PM yesterday about the ES335 asking if it's original and there was no reply. Too good to be true? Better to be safe than sorry...

What other fake could there be?

Next time $1 fake Sx Lespaul =,=lll

well, LadyInTears, its like that. We're having a little bit of an economy crisis here, not sure when economy will pick up again. People are desperate for $$, they find means and ways to earn money. Most, legitimately. Some, through dubious means.

It is good to see people out there that are keeping an eye on these scams/"scams". How authentic the product is, we don't know. But at least there are people looking out and observing everything and making sure no one gets cheated.
Besides, if someone kena scammed, its going to cause a lot of hoo-haa around here

Sure thing he does, . But probably he orders only when you order first otherwise customs would pick him out when you order a shitload of fakes together.

Interesting the variation of from Wilson, Welson to Winson.
