hi bros, i'm currently using a digital drum set which had some kinda hard rubber for its pads. Problem is, i can't turn on the sound loud because i live in hdb and my neighbours are older folks who're at home 24/7 and loves to complain. So when i hit the drum pads (at the volume that can't get complained by), the "thak thak thak" sound from hitting the rubber pads kinda overpowers the snare, cymbal and all other sounds from speaker !!

tried drum sticks with rubber tips, putting tissue paper and even sticking plastic tapes on the pads but they're all ineffective..
Also, i need to get another digital pedal with a 2.5mm jack connector, but can't seem to find one anywhere ! current one broke.
Can any bros give any advice on these ? Greatly appreciated. THANKS !!
