Rough Edge Voices

Any tips on adding a rough edge on my voice? Whether in low or high pitched.

Edit: How do I make my chest voice move to a higher pitch easily/smoothly? When I reached my max Chest Voice , I'll stop singing or just try to force , cuz im not so sure on how to move to a higher pitch smoothly.

you cant force your vocals man..go wif the flow..or else u will end up losing ur voice..try to channel our voice from your stomach..not frm the chest..and yah use more wind ah..i dunno how to explain to u ah..wind vocal ah sumthing like that..

ohk haha. im trying to haha , but its hard. yea practice makes perfect. cuz if i let it go to mixed register , it sounds weird. like its not smooth
