RSC Block Party is a landmark eco-solutions festival, a free entry for all, local rock concert to raise awareness on how to live an environmentally sustainable lifestyle. To use music and the arts to raise awareness, for environmental issues, covering animal rights, oceanic relief and global disaster issues as a result of environmental problems, by means of starting a trend and building up a habit of being eco-conscious.

Local bands and artists will be PERFORMING FOR FREE in hopes of exhibiting their participation of leading by means of example, and local artists will be gracing the event to publicly make pledges on living an eco-friendly lifestlye

**Photo and Video competition theme**

Produce the best photo or a 1min video piece based on the theme: "How to live an environmentally sustainable lifestyle"
to win the attractive prizes of a Samsung i450 phone for each category.
Get creative with it, submission is at the event itself, on 19th July, at old school, 11 Mount Sophia Rd. (11am to 8pm.)
submission is $5 per entry.
Prize giving for photo and video competition will be announced at the post party at Scape in Oct. 2008.
Get your entries coming in.


**shuttle bus service will be provided from Plaza Singapura and Home Club. from 10.30am at 20mins and half hour intervals accordingly**

There will be flea markets and chill out lounges on the day itself as well.

the lovely people from sweetmusic.fm are hitting the decks for the flea market and vip rooms from 1-4pm!! tentatve dj's include --

sham (sweetmusic/plainsunset)
roland (sweetmusic)
and yours truly, mr baby blue (sweetmusic/march12)

(apparently me n sham will be dropping some good hip-hop. hahaha!!!)

just came back home from the (gruelling!) soundchecks over at mt sophia old school.

i must say, you guys are in for a threat tomorrow.
please do remember that there will be shuttle buses from plaza sing at regular intervals of 20minutes.

alternatively, you can walk and climb like thousands of steps of stairs at the back of plaza sing. which i really DO NOT recommend (if you have back problems like me!)

haha the "thousand steps of stairs" was even more tiring the the whole jumping and singing at the gig itself.
