Hello Softies !

I've decided to save up my money since GAS is killing me. I've decided Ibanez RG350MYE (sexy guitar ) and LTD MH-50 but then the RG seems a little too pricey thou aesthetically it is really worthy haha ! The MH-50 is pretty much fine for my budget of 650 but the quality of it may not be as good from reviews I've seen.

Well, I'm okay with the Maple or Rosewood fretboard thing, actually, I don't really find much difference there anyway but I mainly play rock which are stuff like GNR or MCR or Muse and probably some Metallica stuff.

So my main purpose here is that I need comments from you guys or is there any other guitar which I could choose too but FR bridge is definitely needed and of course, budget is $650 max. (That means entry level FR guitars I guess LOL)

Thanks you :D

yea you can get the rg350 with ur around ur budget at sv,
anyway i dont own a ltd but i do have an rg,
it works fine for me and it definitely can handle the stuff ur playing, but yea our comments as to yaadaa yaadaa which guitar is better is subjective, so yea do it the soft way, just go try em out to see which suits ur taste better.

ah. I see.. I'm surprise if the mh-50 isn't much of different cause my friend own one and he really gave the guitar a bad review about how the pick up is muddy and the FR keep killing everything lol.

I think I'll go down SV or some where to try those axe :D

Thank you (:

hmm for the ibanez stock pups the inf series, to some they really like it while to the others they find it muddy too.. for me im one of those which didnt really like it so yea i swapped it for some dimarzios and they were freaking fantastic :) so yea have fun in your quest to finding ur holy grail :)

...a bad review about how the pick up is muddy and the FR keep killing everything lol

guitars come with issues, especially so those in the lower price bracket. we should give due considerations to the attributes of the instrument in this light; it's unwise calling a guitar equipped with a licensed floyd rose bridge lousy when we should know what to expect. should we even compare it to some other guitars up the tier offerings?

what one supplements to the guitar also play a part.

^ Listen to the master.

Van_halen is right and wrong. Tonally, the MH50 and RG350 won't sound to different because they're made for metal, and the stock pickups in both guitars aren't great. HOWEVER, the LFR in the MH50 is gonna give you more problems than the EDGE in the RG350, no matter how carefully you set the thing up. Hence, i'd choose the RG350, as tuning stability is important isn't it?

get your facts right.. rg350m isn't using the famous EDGE bridge that propelled ibanez to popularity...

It is a variant of the original EDGE, and it has superior tuning stability to the LFRs i've encountered, even though it might not be as 'good' as the original Lo-Pro EDGE...........no need to be so confrontation about it..........simply correct the error.

there is a strong following of the RG350M, some deem it on par with the Prestige range. i wouldn't endorse this opinion but having tried one, i would however confirm its above-average feel & QC manifestations. this batch of RGs seems to be above the rest in terms of all-round performance. but the bridge quirks remain the same...
