Reverb Pedals

the tube zipper sound is from the tube zipper pedal. The holy grail in the clip only added 'space and dimension", i dont think its doing much to get that main sound in the clip...

a reverb does not has its own "sound" if we wanna look at it from a tone generator point of view.

What it does is just sorta process your guitar sound and make it seem like in a hall, in a room etc. That spacey and hollow dimension.

the main tone in the tube zipper clip sound to me like some oscillation or extreme filtering thats going on and the frequency is being manipulated(for first clip) while the holy grail just adding that space behind..

same goes to the 2nd clip, tube zipper, add delay, repeat howling and the holy grail adding that dimension behind..

i cud be wrong thou. But if you wanna get the holy grail for that howling sound, i can tell ya, it wont do it..

oh..hahas...i see wat u mean...well...i know...i wan to cover some leads cuz i feel that is not thick enought wif some gadgets...so u think holy grail is a good reverb pedal to get? or u recommand other pedals?

heh, i is hopeless when come to getting thicker sound for lead

But if you wanna, you can try

1)eq pedal, boost the mids,

2) tube screamer style pedal, down gain, up the volume

3) short delay

Reverb wont really make it thick, (imho and definition and not the truth for everyone), it add the space. Too much of it is going to drown out everything else and make it muddy. Wall of uncontrolled sound that will be :D

haha..alrite i will pm u for more info..i don think is related to this topic...hahas...=X
