repairs on power adaptor

hey guys,
i happen to have just blown my power adaptor's transformer unit. probably due to my negligence of the need of a power convertor, as i was using a power adaptor intended for US power sources. do you think there's anywhere or anyway i can fix the power adaptor? thanks.
