Remember those fake guitars at Yahoo auction?

Just tell lah.. Its not your fault also for telling BUT it's their fault for selling fakes.. Trying to rip off people's money.. But if it is value for money, why not..

If its new and crazy cheap = it's a fake !!
Why i am not naming the shops cause ... i don't promote fakes !!
But if its a copy you are after ...there are heaps of good ones.... > Agile

Its actually easy to paste a G of F logo but you can't get away with feel and tone of the instrument !!

hello guys

Hi,

How you guys doing ?

Its David, from Ebenex Music.

We have noted your purchase of those patch cables and I've told my guys to get in touch with you in regards to pickup/postage of your order
.
Do let me know if you have any further problems. You may email me directly at ebenex@gmail.com

We have an actual shopfront at Marine Parade, Roxy Square 2, #03-17, just across the road from Parkway Parade.

Feel free to visit us.

We used to run a used pedal business under the eben collectables banner which has since expanded to a store in Singapore.

We run a honest business so be rest assured that our low prices are definitely genuine.

i stumbled across this guitar in yahoo auctions . it's an RG550. comparing the other RG550LTD which is in pink, it's relatively cheaper.

http://sg.auctions.yahoo.com/sg/i:IBANEZ RG 550 (Made in Japan). 1990 series.:217513146

but after doing my research at www.ibanezregister.com , i don't see this orange model with the red headstock anywhere. is this an authentic RG550 or is it something else? the price is tempting for a good guitar, but i want to make sure it's a stock guitar.

and what are the dimarzio pickups in the neck and bridge.

thanks.

it looks genuine- needs a flip-side view + serial number reference. NO RG5XX were equipped with off-the-shelf Dimarzio units, if there are, then those are replacement units.

the original body finish should be matching the headstock but i suspect the seller (might be a someone with a shop front) left it where the sun shines in, hence the discolouration.

obviously, this guy isn't aware that the RG5XX models weren't Steve Vai's guitars, these came later than the JEM.

the $750 tag is unreasonable, i bought my RG560 new (back in 1991) for $700, hard case included...

its a pre 1990 era rg550. can see its using the edge trem in black and the maple fretboard is in pretty good condition too.. pickups look like evo's though.

but for 750, its a pretty good deal.. though i got mine second hand for 300 bucks.

as for the colour, mayb he refinished it?? or as subversion said, could be due to bleaching.

my rg 550's body is a different colour from the headstock as well.. thats why i decided to strip it.
