Recommendations: Nuturing kids for music

think the kid should learn to love music first... at least must be able to groove to catchy music on the radios first... playing part can come thereafter...

hear too many friends who took the academic paths- lessons and exams stuff, but never learnt to enjoy music ... think i will hate myself if i came on too hard and she ends up the same.. a good balance is needed i think..

ya some parents forces their kids to learn piano. or whatever. and since they started for a few years since young.
they were forced even further to complete the whole thing.

that's so sad....
how the kid thinks as positively learning or negative learning have to depend on him/herself.
she might or might not be grateful that her parents forced her to learn
