The GT2, well, I can't rem the retail but 2nd hand, usually 180 on.

As you heard form the Tech21nyc website, the GT2 can do clean, blues, crunch, etc etc...
guess how much my friend just bought his... 50 bucks...................

but you can get the GT2 MUCH cheaper on ebay... 50 US dollars plus shipping around 15 to 30 more...

i got the jekyll and hyde. it's very good for rhythmn. not very good for leads imo, unless u combine both channels. it lacks mids

Can't rem if you heard this but...

Guyatone Metal Monster MM-X Demo..

Guitar used: RG7621, bridge pup thru out, HAS DropZone7 (prototype)

RG7621 -> MM-X -> Tech21 Sansamp Original (preamp eq/sim) --> Tech21 Tri-O.D. (speaker sim) --> laptop.

*MM-X setting (according to the numbers printed there, NOT time):
Distortion: 7
Mid Freq/Mids: Both at 5
Level: 6.5 (around unity)
High: 7
Low: 6.5

* Running @ 9v instead of 12v... so.. different lah... tube not so bright too, lost some bling...

I purposely added more treble, since, on a 7 string you want smooth tones, you sacrifice the Low B clarity, esp when chugging full power chords / chords... plus, you can't play with uber smooth tones live, esp when you are with another guitarist lah.. so yeap! Think towards a live context. Have fun!
