I'd go for Maton too, but his budget is 400.
My vote goes to Maestro, I'm anti Yamaha... Hee...

Cheers...

Jazz|||, you can create a voting thread already man! haha.. seems like all of us love to vote somehow..

Or have you already purchased your guitar?

You can actually look out for J&D at Ranking Sports. Do check out Art & Luthiers too! :)

With 400 you can actually get a decent Art&Luthier acoustic without electronics though.

Or you can try out some of the corts at Sweelee. Drop by both sweelee and ranking sports for more acoustic.

Go for a acoustic that you feel really comfortable with, the neck feel and body shape, etc.

If you're getting a solid top spruce guitar, your guitar will sound alot better after it "opens" up. That might take months or even years.

I'm currently keeping a look out for good 2nd hand deals on forums though. :)

+5 to the Maestro. Sorry, but Yamaha acoustics really feel inferior to everything in their price range. But their L series, electric guitars and electric basses really rock.

well well
majority voted maestro, and majority cant be wrong i guess, thanks guys.
gonna make a trip to maestro next week lor.

maestro is nice. got a big fatty one with maple sides and back... sounds great when whacked hard. BIG BIG volume.
