Recommend a pedal

Recommended pedals

I'm not sure how useful this thread is gonna be, so I apologise in advance.

I just thought that perhaps compiling a list of pedals that you use/recommend would be useful for others who are looking to get some for their lineup. I know, I know.. best to try them out. But with so many choices, it would be useful to have a list to help narrow it down a little, I would think.

I know that there are a plethora of Drive/Distortion pedals that gets mentioned alot in this forum, so I don't think we are short of choices in that area (the review section has a substantial amount of info on them). There are other effects that gets less of a mention, so gets little prominence, and those are the effects/stompboxes that I would like to know as well.

So, if you are willing to participate in this little research "survey", please reply by filling in the blanks. Would probably help alot of new guitarists as well as idiots like me :D

I have included pedals often seen and recommended by reputation, as well as pedals positively reviewed in the review section that has a substantial amount of replies that supports the affirmed endorsement of the review author.

maybe a better idea would be a simple list like this, but include:

all the pedals available in singapore/or whereever
their models
their make
a brief 3-5 word description
average price 1st hand and 2nd hand
where to buy

example:

BOSS | MT2 | high gain metal chugga chugga | $200++ | $70-$100 | p2p/swee lee/???/???

just an idea
and oh then make it sticky under rookie corner here.

Biyang OD-7 Overdrive|boosting those high-ends for leads|$85*freaking cheap*|standard value

btw it has some similar components to the holy grail of ODs the TS-9.

Thanks guys. :)

Well, I think we can have it in a more descriptive level like how unknown suggested. I don't have any objections to that.

I would really like to fill up the spaces in the other categories that are apart from drive and distortion, however. That is the intention I have for creating this thread.

But anyway, keep posting :D

Line 6 | Uber Metal | high gain metal distortion | $170 | Ebenex Music
