Consulted randolf on all things guitar. I dare say anyone who had any experience with him would only have good words for him, not just patronising courtesy but sincere appreciation.
Same goes for his mods and tweaks to pedals and amps, I should know because my JCM800 was serviced by him

I'd have to share similar sentiments with many in this forum... think Randolf is great! Maybe cos I was such an ignoramus to begin with, but the barrage of useful information that Randolf gladly floods you with whenever you show up at his place is just overwhelming. You leave feeling like there's so much more to understand about the guitar and the accessories, kinda provides motivation and zeal to improve as well.
I was sold the first time I went over to Randolf's place, bo pianz. Randolf, I half-blame you for helping me realize what to sell and buy, now pocket is fulla holes man! haha! =) Will send my ds1 over to u soon.
Knowledge+application = power ===> Randolf is quite darn powerful.
Have fun modding your pedals ppl, whether you get someone to do it, or try it out on your own!

Hi all, thanks for your responses to my comments....Let me address a few things to a few ppl....
Ripper, thanks for pointing out this to me, but honestly that is MY opinion, and what you just said is YOUR OPINION as well. Unless you can tell me that you yourself have never sidetracked a thread topic before, I don't think you are right in saying whatever you said, be it elucidant or not.

And to Mr Randolf, thanks for the offer and superb reply, i think i'll come by one of these days. I'll did be delighted if you could prove me and my ever a-fiortori group of friends(who like to compare and contrast your modded stuff)wrong. Coincidentally, i'm also selling my BOSS-CS3 to a friend, who wants to take it to you for modding i believe.
Thanks to all of you who have somewhat voiced your opinions on this as well. No offence to anyone, I was just voicing my humble and insignificant opinion, and you guys have been a great lot to talk to and discuss with. Thanks!!!

i just think people like you tarnish the local music community. I believe its your hobby to just simply post reply whether its relevant to the subject or not, and you also experience post being deleted. well, this is a FACT.
may be its time you really look into the mirror. if you are that good to compare keeley's and randolf's, why dont you upload tracks played with their products and let us decide ourselves? if not, you should really just go to harmony central and reflect your one-sided opinion there.

When you go to randolf, you don't only go there for the pedal mod, but you also go there for the service, knowledge and experience. This is something you can never get with overseas mod services. By the way, my randolfed sd1 still going strong! I cannot live without it, no matter what other pedal i use it with! It was customised to my own taste. The only problem is the knob is faulty.. Boss' fault

Mine has 2 toggle switch.
Switch between :Germanium/LED/zener diode clipping.
Switch between :Normal voicing/more clarity&sparkle.
Oh and he has the bypass bleed fixed too

Bro Ripper, i think you need a take a step back and relax. No point getting so worked up man. I already got a reply from brother Randolf himself and he's shown himself to be a much of a gentleman, much like the professional part which you yourself envision of all musicians.

Its ironic(don think i need to explain y, u are a pretty smart guy im sure, go figure) and no offence just pointing it out in case if u fail to realise that.
I think you need to realise that we all entitled to free speech, and in moderation of course. When u just say ppl like me tarnish the reputation of musicians, you are making a sweeping statement and a personal attack, its no longer just a personal opinion or statement. I don't think that is fair to me. And its really up to you whether u want to continue this pointless argument cos im not going to waste my time, having already explained my take on the DS-1 is purely my personal opinion, no harm to anyone.
And just to clear certain things still left hanging in the air, no, it is not my hobby although you may deem it be.
