question on tabs

does anyone knows what does . means in the tabs??

Thoses are the fret positions however for that song all of those are harmonics SO slide you finger along the string with out pushing down onto the fret. With the intro you down have to be exactly with the timng of the picking and the position of your finger. Just slide it between the 5 fret and the 2nd and pick at a reasonable speed. REMEMBER THE INTRO IS ALL HARMONICS NO FRETTING FOR YOU.
