question on patch cables and les paul hardware

solder free- easy to assemble, just needing a sharp penknife, hand and mind coordination at minimum power

solder one- Need soldering iron/lead, more secured then then the solderles "push in, tighten cap" type.

anyway, solderless one also can be soldered(and which i have done before as well). There is no issue at all. If getting solderless cable, try the solderless plug first, if not happy, then get the after market plugs and solder to it. If still not happy, de solder it and use back solderless head. Everything is reversible, no problem at all, provided its a solderless type cable to begin with

spend one afternoon, go walk around the shops, talk to the sales people or search thru the different offical sites of the products and see if they have a local dealer, come back and let us know.

Afterall, theres enough info in here for a while, pay back the goodwill by letting us know what you can find out after we have share some of the things we knew, in here.

not sure if you are aware that other then for geetar purpose, those plugs are used in other area like hi fi and audio engineering work purpose as well.

If you wanna result, other than searching at peninsular or guitar shops in general, try simlim tower, sim lim square, apdelphi etc.

anyway, theres a local dealer called red dot music, he brings in some quality plugs, cable and stuff. He is in the forum here as well, have his own blog for the stuff he carrys. Do a search and you can find out more.
