question on cables

hello,

I was wondering what cables you use.
all my cables are shielded. I use mostly Ibanez and another japanese brand (it was a gift). I cant remember the name but they seem pretty tough...

I have not really "chosen" my cables. I've just been buying what was convenient when I needed new cables (so: ibanez )

is there a lot of difference between shielded cables??
some brands are better than others??

I use Korean wood cables from Ki-Sound. Surprisingly good...

u should try george l's... which is great... really clear and transparent... and custom audio's with switchcraft plugs... monster cables are a bit expensive... try using short cables... around 3 meters only... using extended cables will make ur sound boomy and bassy...

I noticed that long cables reduce the brilliance of the sound indeed.

same thing happens if you combine shielded cables with normal cables (like the very short cable you use to link your stomp boxes)

i didnt know Monster Cables but I heard this name a few times...

just ordered a mid booster + tbx from ebay to put in my G&L
love this guitar but haven't played it for quite some time...
