Do you copyright your compositions?

If yes, how does one go about getting copyrights in Singapore?
Would greatly appreciate if you can provide some useful info like procedures and fees etc, or links to some useful sites.

If im not wrong, compass requires one of ur songs to be played in public so they can keep u as a member and protect ur rights.

One of the cheap ways to copyright ur song is to burn it on a CD and mail it back to urself.
In this way u can prove that when the post office stamp ur mail with a date so you can say u got the composition 1st!
