Question about Canare GS-6 Cable

Hi everyone.

Im just curious. On the cable, there is 'Made in Japan' 'GS-6' '705' printed on it. Most of the time I always see ppl have the ones with '705' printed on it. What is '705'? I look at my fren's cable, its printed '605' and I look at another its '805'? I compare these three GS-6 cables, thickness is the same. Im not sure about the inside of the cable whether or not there is any difference.

U guys have any idea?

Probably the batch number. No biggy.

probably indicates production year, 705 for the 2007 production year.

theres only one type of gs-6 cable(thats according to their site) so i guess the number cud just be batch number as what kerplunk mentioned.

Canare Corp. - Quality Cables and Connectors:

i have got gs4, gs6 and the balance L2t2s canare cables which have 405 and 605 on it. Other than just numbering, dont think theres much meaning/difference in the number, to the end user that is..
