Hi all, curious about the head and cab functions of the amp since I am hardly exposed to those type of amps.
I know the cab is the section where the speakers are, where your sound comes out and the head is the place where you plug your input and adjust your settings.
Why then some amps have the head/cab in one peice (Line6 Spiders/Vox AC30s) while some have them separate (Full tube Marshalls and Mesa B)?
Whats the difference, and can a head of a specific brand be used on another brand of cabs OR used with normal combo amps?
