Okay basically i need to invest in one. and the most important condition is this.

Because i play live and need to save the tempo for each song, when i transit to the next song. i want to press a button for the metronome to change to the next song. So i can start of the 4 beat and set the tempo right for the next song.

Which metronome does that?

1)Korg Beatlab
2)Tama Rhytmn Watch
3)Boss DB-90

But the Boss one really expensive. AT LEAST $200 over.

Im thinking of the first two options.. yea. Can get second hand i also dont bother. i just need that impt function. of course user friendly and itll be great.

Anyone got any advice?

Yea the Tama Rhythm Watch does that. 30 memory slots for you to program tempo/time sig.

But I dun recommend that for several reasons. Main 2 are its lack of features and its bulkiness. I have to say though that its very user friendly.

Of course, if you're just looking for a metronome that you can program tempo of songs and use it live, then the rhythm watch fits the bill.

Do check out the Boss DB-60 Though (young brother of the 90), I'm not sure if it has the programmable function. Ever since I've check the features of the DB-60, I've regretted my rhythm watch purchase. :(

yea i think im getting the beatlab!~ haha. yeap. thanks for the advice abt the tama rhytmn watch!

Mods can delte this thread la:)

hey, there's another way to do this though, all u need to have is an mp3 player and earphones.

go online and search for some free metronome program. then record 4, 8 or 16 beats of the common tempos, like 60, 72, 84, 96, 100, 108, 120 etc and save it as "tempo **" on ur mp3

then when u got a fixed set list, u can order them as u like on ur mp3's playlist. if all else fails, just play the damn song for the actual tempo! >.<

i personally have a Korg Beatlab, its great and all..the only cons of it is the volume.. unless you're planning to jack in an IEM/In-ears. oh well.

Cheers! xx
