PSR 275 VS PSRE 303

dear all, am looking for a beginner's keyboard which I hope to also use as a midi controller for my garageband and found these 2 particularly suitable, but not very sure which is better. The 275 is 330 at Yamaha while the 303 is 310 at luther with adapter.

am also wondering how much will a basic USB midi interface cost?

Sorry for asking lame questions, am essentially a guitarist, looking for keyboard to help in composing only.

Hey, I've been looking out for keyboards as well. The cheapest ones I've found so far are at Mustafa, the PSR E303 at Luther sells at about $300+, but costs only $260 at mustafa. I wanted to get that as well but they had no warranty. The PSR E203 on the other hand sells for only $170 at Mustafa, but its not touch sensitive, but shld be ok if u're mainly using strings and organ effects.

I'm also looking at the Behringer U-CONTROL UMX61 (see http://www.behringer.com/UMX61/index.cfm?lang=ENG), emailed them but no reply as yet. This keyboard is actually a midi controller, so u need a computer to get the sounds out.

The PSR E303 is touch sensitive.

I think he meant the E203 is not touch sensitive.

Yeah, was hoping to play with it and pick up a bit of keyboard skills, otherwise I would have just gotten a ekeys49 or cheap casio one. Thus need the sounds.

E303 is the latest model replacing the PSR 275. That's all, everything else the same, except design.....
I have a PSR 275, selling off at $250 with stand. Anybody want to buy, contact me at parabluemusic@yahoo.com.sg
