It doesn't matter if the guitar good or no good. If you no good, you buy good guitar then not use mah. But if you're a good player, any guitar would do just fine.

THe Tremonti SE is a gd value for money guitar...quite well built.....
just a pickup change...and it would be fantastic for me.....
im thinking ur budget is abt S$900-1000.....
why dont u make a trip down to davis and try it out...and try other models which are in ur budget....give the tokais a shot too......
u want the guitar to stay for 'quite sometime'.......i didnt know guits had legs to move abt.....

actually this depends on urself.....if u believe wat u have is gd..then it will stay with u for a long time......The SE is quite a versatile guit....would be able to cover a few genres even with the stock pickups.....
but dude...it stills boils down to whether u like it or not.....
i have seen pple buy guitars/effects cos a certain artist uses it or its highly reccomended by pple only to go home and find that u dont like it....the next day....u'll see it in the buy/sell forum...so choose wisely man..... 8)

I see title at first thought you eyed on the $5K++ PRS ..

I don't know but if you want it better grab it quick. Think only left that piece in davis.

i've once wanted to buy it..and thus i've tried it obviously..

it basically very light..very very light..for me la..the body is thing..the neck is quite meaty..very comfortable to play actually.

pickups wise..the neck pickups are kinda decent..but the bridge pickup of the one i tried has been changed to DM evo..so cant comment on that.

i liked the guitar..only tt it was too light and thing for my liking..

its worth trying..

Would you like to conduct a clinic with a kapok guitar.

actually i wouldn't mind, after i change the tuners, scalloped the fingerboard, put in an EVO near the bridge, refret, fil up the soundhole with wood putty, put in a floyd rose, and get it properly set-up and intonated, then run it into a FX processor

tt's beside his point. think i know wat u mean but apart from skills, equipment also plays a big role in defining ur playing..

if an guitar wud do juz fine for a gd guitar player, y do we see the league of extraordinary guitarists slinging great n expensice guitars?

i totally disagree. a good guitar sounds and play much better than jus tany guitar. even if ur good, i'm sure u wouldnt want to get stuck with a lousy and hard to play guitar

Its better to get a Carvin CT6M than to get a PRS that costs $5k. Carvin has a much better quilt finish, a much lower price tag, better playability and craftsmanship and a solid tone. It has won a few allocades with a few guitar magazines
