Problem with Zvex Fuzz Factory

I just aquired one over the weekend and I must say i've been quite satisfied with it but the problem is that the thing wont do that super feedback thing . It's rather docile for the fuzz factory compared to the one i tried out at blackwood . Is there a way to get that feedback noise by say increasing the voltage of the dc input or something?

Are you putting it in front of your chain? I've a fuzz factory too and mine only does the wierd screamy stuff if my guitar's plugged directly into it. Something to do with how it reacts to your pickups if i'm not mistaken. Hope this helps!

lol.....i dont have a problem with that....cos mine uses silicon.

most fuzzes don like buffers before them, they like to see your guitar's pickup rather a buffer. Try putting it first in the chain, especially since your wah and eq isnt true bypassed.

I put it after my wah . The wireless , tuner . wah then fuzz fact . Any idea where to get the wah true bypassed?

Strange, that's exactly where I put my Fuzz Factory (save the wireless) in my effects chain, and I couldn't get the crazy feedback to stop :S Perhaps it might be something to do with the wireless?

try it before your wah, you may like it better. Fuzz faces are very picky about where they are in the chain...sometimes even pedals which are not true bypassed after them may affect the tonality of it too.

If it turns out to the wireless or some buffered thing...

Then you might want to research on those things that change the impedance... I don't know much about how they work but its like they change the impedance so your efx reads a signal with the proper impedance... supposed to allow fuzzes to work with buffers and what not.

Radial has something like that, strapped to a strap... Barge Concepts have a pedal that does it too.

I tried it with a cable , still doesn't work . I'll take it to ebenex and ask S.K hahaha he's always the solution . Now it makes a damn harsh sound with the wah fully inclined .
