if i recall, it's not in very good condition... quite old and binding has turned yellowish due to age?

would u take pre-orders for ibanez basses as well? i have a student who realllly wants a new bass...

we went down to swee lee to try out a few that day but he wasn't very satisfied, especially when he found out the Fender 60th anniv P bass will not be on 50%. i reccomended the RD505 as well as the SRX series, but he prefers solid coloured basses and jazz/precision body shapes. however, we're going down again to try out more basses, we didnt get to try enough cuz i dont like to stay there trying stuff too long, the staff get pushy.

oh well, hopefully we'll find something nice

a 5-string Ibanez isn't quite a substitute for the 60th Ann p-bass...

i can't remember if the Highway1 strat is still available there, that would be a good acquisition this sale. otherwise, the Jap Fender basses are great value for money, especially the JB-75:

*Prestige (Jap): hard case included. no such inclusion for Korean models.
*Signature (Jap): as above
*Regular RG models (Jap): hard case included. no such inclusion for Korean/ Chinese/ Indonesian models, not even a bag...
*Gio models: you pay for the guitar only

here's the suitable hardcase for the SZ: W50SZ

i'm not too sure if it is subject to 50% because i can't remember if i bought it at a NETT price. if it is, then 30% disct applies...

that's quite a tight budget to work with. if he's ok with the Squier brand name, the Standard Jazz model is recommended. there's some good Japanese Ibanez to watch out for but since he's not into Ibanez...
