MXR ZW was available in March 06, dunno if they still have it. phase90- didn;t see it @ swee lee but currently available @ Davis.

Just wondering, for effects pedals, what's the use of indicating our interest here, relaying it to Sweelee, Sweelee try their best to stock up, and when the day arrives, some desparate guy goes in first, and buy all the pedals one shot. I saw this guy, in June 2005, went in, and took lotz of popular BOSS pedals, guarding it at one corner while some Sweelee person process his purchase. Then, in Dec 2005, it happened, again. Not sure if it is the same person. And there's no regulation to prevent this from happening again.

i might as well say: Hey everyone, forget about getting anything, on the sale day there's gonna be some monkey there buying everthing his mom can afford to fork out. so stay home & watch cartoons.

we're just being hopeful here by letting the swee lee people know how many items to provide on the sale day. some of us got what we wanted the last time round, no harm trying this time. as per last sale, i will be letting the good SOFT members know how many of a certain item are actually gonna be available on the actual day.

if you are a SOFTie, first in queue on the sale day, maybe you can buy everything for us so the above-mentioned monkey won't stand a chance. why not, yes?

Sub, don't get me wrong, I was referring only to the effects pedals. Especially those popular ones. Such consumer behavior did happened, twice, and I won't be surprise to hear about it this time round.

Also, SOFTies do not represent all the buyers there on the day of the sale, i.e. there are so many more other musicians going there. Let's say a total of 10 Ibanez DE-7's were requested by SOFTies, there are many others who can be there that day to queue for the DE-7. As long as they grab those DE-7's before any SOFTie does, still, we won't get what we wanted. Just an example. Maybe some good SOFTies can station at the frontline to secure such hot items.

Anyway, I won't be going. :wink: Pai-seh, I talked so much.
