Wanna know wat pots to use for Lace Sensor? mine is Red, blue n silver

Its up to you.

Generally, single coils use 250k pots and humbuckers use 500k.

The higher the value of the pot, the more brightness it lets thru when full on, or the less load it has on the circuit when its full on. Hence, being that single coils are bright, ppl generally don't want it to break glass, so its 250k. And humbuckers, being warm, usually go with 500k to let a tad more brightness thru.

They also have 1meg pot but I don't where to buy or how it would sound

go with a 500k ...usually you will get less maybe bvetween 470k to even 350k.
Some expensive guitars. :roll: have custom values... usually less than 500K for singles. on all pots . go with your ears :wink:

A 1 meg pot on full, is like its open... there's very little resistance, almost like bypassing the pot. Otherwise, it works the same.

Oh yeah... 1 thing... . if you want to experiment, just go ahead and get a high value pot first.

Reason being, you can install resistors on the pot to cut its value down... But you can't go up you see?

how do pot value affect volume pots?

i've heard of the effects of em for tone but not volume... any idea?
