What artist models are you looking at? Can always ask someone who has one if you can try :) And Ishibashi's packaging is pretty good. Last time, they used to stuff a lot of foam into one cardboard box.. now they stuff a lot of foam into one cardboard box with the bass inside, and put it in ANOTHER box stuffed with lots of foam. No damage either time I ordered :)

in my constant bid to curb bad GAS, i've decided to limit them to things that i actually can't afford with or without a job.

but i think these are valid.. *heh*

2djtlc1.jpg

Lakland Joe Osborn (only shoreline green please)

40kegyp.jpg

ehx bass synth

44lu82r.jpg

ampeg svt pro 3

2v0k8zq.jpg

macbook pro 15"

and something not music related:
35akhno.jpg

panasonic hvx200

..

i think i've satisfied my GAS for a bit :). however, i would love a

zon sonus (fretted and fretless)

modulus flea bass (lane poor pup, badass bridge, and BLUE SPARKLE)

a nice 60s p-bass will do as well. teehee!

damn.. those are gas inducing.. but not as inducing as your 70's J basses with block inlays.. i'd like the white P to come with the tortoise shell pickguard.. but then it'll remind me of a certain CIJ model -)

damn.. all that passive goodness. you're can almost hear it through the pictures -)

Btw...i did set up on an original 50's ...oh boy ...so sweet that lady was... noiseless ...since the pu's had copper sheet affixed right under the pu's with nice paddding as well.
