PRS basses are really very nice.....super deep and with a lovely neck..... hee. I checked.....about $1.4k US without shipping on Ebay for a 4 sring i think.......

And yes, Superkicky, your Fender jazz also make me drool like mad.......... i think we all need serious counselling fr Rotten Ramone man.........hahahahaha
 
aaaaah... i juz paid swee lee a visit today... i have GAS for that warwick rockbass. my fave man...5 string with 2 soapbars... whoa 8O

I am on man!!! Cos to be very honest, I kinda wanna keep the bass cos its sweet its just that, I figured I should deGAS a lil, and have some spare cash in case GAS strikes again....

But I always wanted to try that fender jazz for longer than just a few mins at the guitar shop man. I arrange with you after this week lah!

If I had to have one amp/cab, it would be the classic Ampeg SVT-CL and 8x10 combination, or a Trace Elliot GP12SMX and 8x10 combo. Ok lah, maybe 4x10 can but the cones have to be 10"!
 
i think we should form a

Guitar/Bass annonymous s.o.f.t singapoe [ G.A.S.S / B.A.S.S if you like it]

objective:

-wean GAS
-have weekly anti-GAS meeting (probably turn into a whore ur basses session anyway)
-monthly gear checkouts / exchange ?

hmm. because by actually sharing , we can hopefull explore more basses and learn that we ought to be bass-monogamous and not poly-hetra-hydra-nonsensica-gamous with basses.

either way, i tihnk it would do a lot of good as it would help the community bond. but kinda impractical

sounds like a good idea the bass exchange but then with the expensibe basses, what if someone dings the bass? alot of trouble maybe small scale 1 on 1 sort of things would be better.
 
aiyah.. basses are meant to be played. Even expensive ones. And I think most folks here are discerning enuff not to ding anyone's basses. I have confidence in the folks here!
