Excellent blueark. We should a/b DS1 mods... there's this unique DS1 tone that keeps me coming back for more but the stock DS1 has so many bad points I just will not use it stock anymore!

In anycase... I'm interested in the moody... :)

If i buy the moody ah....i sure moody for quite some time

Anyway, i've ordered quite a number of stuffs online too....so far the independant makers are very responsive and helpful to queries. Very good correspondance and updates on their part.

Most of the time, the only advantage i can see are purchases for "mainstream" products like Boss, Morley etc. It's certainly cheaper in most cases than buying over here locally, sometimes the prices are just glaring. For the boutique or mods stuffs, there's no way for us to have a hands-on. Either from hearing clips by forum members or very detailed description and reviews, then do i place my orders.

Like what Shredcow mentioned also, would most ppl fork out let's say $400+ USD for a Diamond Memory Lane or $250USD for a TC Electronic SCF? It's really a big variety out there and i appreciate Mrmisse and WMUM for bringing some amazing stuffs to cater to us.

Remember, good tone is personal and comes to you if you bother to go out there and experiment.

Besides music123, where else can I go to get reliable service?
I need some help to get started on online shopping.

Hey lifehouse, how's the quality of the moody strap? :) Would be awesome to own a chrome leather strap... only 80 USD! ;)

We should a/b the analogman DS1 and keeley DS1 :)

The strap quality is superb. The top end planetwaves and dimarzio cannot match. Very comfortable. No slip. Last but not least, I'm not moody but happy that I have such a strap worth every penny.

$185 more like shipping guitar than pedals. If u can, purchase direct from the manufacturer.

bought a number of 2nd hand used pedals from ishibashi.

i was able to find some pedals which i wanted at good prices on the site.

the packing is great too. they are extremely generous with bubble warp. :)

i tried looking at local shops for the pedals i wanted....was disappointed with the lack of choice. besides boss, and maybe MXR, nothing much.
