For non-traditional guitar shapes, I'd prefer the Flying V cos it's one of the first few radical designs that came out...simple and yet unconventional Here's my Gibson Flying V (sorry but I prefer this to the other V-types)
However, these are the other damn cool designs caught my eye:
Dragon-slayer medieval axe (or whatever you call it :lol!!
OT: You mean me? Ermm...the strat in the pic is a righty mex strat (which I already sold more than a year back  ) But if you're talking about my current lefty Strat...I doubt I'll be selling it at the moment cos it serves me well But thanks for asking...I'll know where to look if I need to sell my axes *lol* You a lefty too? Do you happen to have a Gibson Les Paul custom (black) that you wanna sell? Heh
for some reason, i find the explorer shape to be very comfortable for me, more so than my superstrat even. Probably because of the lack of hindrance on the bass side (I use the lower strings just as much as i do with the higher strings, all up to the 22nd fret) , unlike a super strat, or even worse, an LP shape axe.
