Just wondering, if a show comes about with the following bands in the line-up:

plus like 3-4 more local bands, and say at a place like substation, how much are you willing to pay?

Kinda am thinking of doing a show at this scale, and was wondering what's the regular gig-goer's budget for a line up like this.

lol i see that in your poll, your minimum is $20. I wouldn't mind paying that amount but not for a local gig with bands from ph that are unknown, and i know many others who wont.

to help you guage better, for $30, we got to see parkway drive + 4 other metals acts.

when talking bout prices for local gigs, they usually go as low as $5 and i think the highest people would be willing to pay would be about $12 even if the location is really good. well, at least that's the market price for most of the local gigs based on what i've seen.

haha i'm sorry if i was a little too blunt, but i believe many people from singapore are not exposed to the music scene in PH. Having said that, i believe this is a good chance for us to get a taste of their music scene :-D

yes i think so too they have plenty of amazing bands we can learn from.
i just came back from a mini phi tour, and this band stood out the most:

they are coming down soon as well, sometime early next year.

I think we can all agree, as much of a huge Parkway Drive fan anyone is, the sound was horrendous. And I feel that should never ever happen. If you are bringing in good bands, I don't care what the organiser does, do some justice to the bands and provide a decent backline for them. Ensure that the kids that paid for the show, go home with good memories.

On this note, I would pay $50 to watch Parkway Drive (alone) if I am assured that the sound is gonna be good.
