anyone tried before line 6 pod xt? not the live but the kidney bean... I was thinking of buying it when citymusic has a sale again.. is it worth the money?

Because my room is small LOL. and i might need to carry it around... having the live may be convenient for live performance, but it's quite bulky right..? plus, i got a pedal at home which cost me a bomb(to me) and if i buy the live, i might not have any use for the pedal anymore...
then the question is how are you going to change patches live? im using a podxt as well but i have the fbv shortboard controller, not advisable but i like the idea that if im going to the studio and i dont need to swap patches i'll just bring the bean, and vice versa if i do. damn messy setup though

Haiz... I don't want to buy the xt anymore... after I saw the live.. so nice... but is very expensive... is it worth the money for XT live to be 500+?

hey bro, i have used the xt live and bought a x3 live recently. i highly recommend that you get the x3.
the last sale a xt live was $510 and x3 was $635. for the little extra you pay for the x3, you get ALOT of other functions, plus the x3 is lighter and smaller.

i agree with the above, the x3 is indeed better, but the xtlive is good enough for most.

if the extra functions, size and weight is not an issue, i will say SAVE your $125.
i A/Bed the xt and x3, the tone sounded the same. i read somewhere that there is an improvement in this area, but my amateurish ear couldn't tell the diff...

probably because its better to buy second hand, and resale prices of the x3 is still sky high, as for me, who like to try out new stuff, its less financially demanding to get a xtlive

okaay i have decided... to buy the xt live.. because i tried before pod express and it don't feels like something that is in a rig for live performance... the pod xt is also shaped like a bean so i might treat it as a toy... LOL.
