POD xt LIVE

Hi guys, I recently got a POD xt live cos wanna play around with it.

I tried using Line6 edit to edit my patch but everytime the program opens, this error msg will appear and i cannot open the program:

Then I tried the GearBox but I don't seem to know how to use it.

Anyone mind helping me by giving me more info on how I can edit the sound and patches using the PC software instead of from the POD xt live.

It is probably because you have Java v6 installed, which is an automatic update unless you turn it off. The POD editor does not yet work with Java 6, though it will have to at some point.

On your computer go to Control Panel>Add or Remove Programs and uninstall Java 6. Then when you run the install program for the POD editor check the option the install Java 5.

The alternative is to wait a few weeks. Every POD user with auto update running on Windows has the same problem so Line 6 really need to sort it out ASAP.

L6 Edit can do both.
