plugged it in and theres no sound (guitar)

it's a good move to bring those back to the store. ask them to diagnose it on the spot then ask what the matter is. knowing the problem would prevent you from creating more in time to come.

aah alright thanks.

but teh irony of everything is, the cable my firend lent me is faulty. gRR! he didnt tell me.

cause his bandmember said that during a performance in sch, his cable (which he lend me is spoil) that he used during the show had to be changed..too much feedback

oh well...my friend gonna lend me his working cable...if still not working, then theres something wrong with guitar/amp.

sorry for the confusion. but i still find it weird, why are there hollow/echo-y sounds from the neck..i'll take it back to them.

thnaks

make a sacrifice like hendrix..he burned his guitar..

hahahah it was just sacrificing, 1 of his many many many guitars.

i dont work, and this is my only guitar LOL :?

Hmm.

^^ FYI Hendrix didn't smash his own guitar.. that's just a confused recount.

In fact, Hendrix had borrowed Pete Townshend's guitar (Pete Townshend is guitarist for The Who for those not in the know), without the latter's nowledge and smashed it onstage.

Got this info from Guitar World Magazine

That said, wouldn't it be incredible if anyone had the cash to smash a REAL Fender Stratocaster onstage, and just buy a new one the next day?

i like to smash a smasher

Pete Townsend use to have dummy speaker cabs on stage just to have it smashed later .....master of gimmicks he was !!

i know that tom delonge of blink182 used to smash his fenders all the time.

but ever since he started using gibson, i've nvr seen him smash. LOL.

gibson more exp thats why? haha

Hmm.

Quoting Joe Perry,

"Trying to smash a fender Stratocaster is as difficult as smashing a baseball bat against a brick wall, but you're so full of adrenelin you just keep doing it even though it hurts"

Respect.
