Pls help, HOW DO I GET THIS SOUND?

Hi, i'm very much obsessed with this sound that i'm trying to acheive. its 0:15 of this song http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bqY4f45SKqY . Its very modern sounding and fat and smooth. How do i acheive this? Chorus and OD? And could anyone recommend me a good od pedal to do this kinda sound? Considering a Maxon Od 820:/

hmm I guess u need to find out what amps, what guitar, what effect pedal or effects processor, what cables what power cables for amps , what strings the artist use.
All these small big medium things all contributes to the sound

You can never achieve this tone with a single guitar... That tone is the magic of layers of guitar overdubs panned ard 3'o clock and 9'o clock..
