Possible scenarios.

Missing member loses his/ her phone, dog ate his/her phone, phone dropped into toilet bowl, accidentally throw phone into the dustbin, missing member died, gone abroad, exploded, got abducted by aliens, fell in love, fell into a hole and cannot escape, ... I'm sure you guys can think of more.

Yeah, they should at least provide a reason, instead of just disappear without a trace. Irresponsible and disruptive.

The person should've at least apologised& I guess even if he lost his phone, he could've contacted the studio to let you guys know.

Unless like eugene mentioned - he got abducted by aliens ( & am not talking about illegal foreign workers ) - & probed in through the 'exit door'. That would be psychologically devastating, crushing etc...

as that footage could end up on some UFO documentary.

Then it's okay to disappear without trace.

Not a big deal if he's only doing it to your band. Just treat him as not interested in your band and move on.

Anyway, have you checked if this guy's a "repeat offender"? If yes, then maybe can understand why you post.

But still, this is rather unnecessary and you are actually smearing someone's character. (you put that guy's handphone number some more)

hmmm I don't agree with crustpunk.. even if he is not interested or last minute cant make it, the least he could do was to notify the band. By not turning up on jamming day and ignore phone calls is really annoying. Well, he punked firelord's band .. wasted his band member's time, he have every right to punk him back right..haha
cmon its just a phone number not house address or IC number..he can change any time..haha and even if anyone sees this post and call him.. he will ignore the calls anyway..lol.

if this fella feels that this allegation is untrue or unfair, he is welcome to state his case or make a complaint.

with regards to 'smearing' his character, it is actually by his own actions did he get 'smeared'.

i dont condone flames but i feel in this instance,
1. the case is clear-cut
2. the complainant had exhausted all attempts to settle the issue personally and privately

anyway, how would you suggest that anyone find out if he is a repeat offender if someone does not highlight the problem the first time?

No offense, Crustpunk, but I disagree...

This guy has proven to be unreliable and irresponsible. He caused a lot of inconvenience to his bandmates, and other bands ought to be warned about him so they don't end up in the same situation.

Also, if he really had something cropping up, a thread like this would prompt him to explain his actions, and if he does that, and has a good reason, then he will get the chance to clear his name.

A member, especially one as essential as the drummer, who doesn't turn up, causes a whole world of inconvenience. The band can't even jam properly in a situation like that. Such a situation is totally counter-productive, it is a waste of the other band members' time and it disrespects the effort they put into this particular jamming session.
