as the title suggests, have you ever got those emails by guitar "pros" saying that they'll show you how to really be a super shredder in just 30 days? personally i dont believe it myself, but from the testimonials of other people who have tried it out i could see the achievements they made in their guitar playing. one guy started shredding in 30 days when he tried it out without knowing one single chord on the guitar.

i recieved one email today with this message.

"Hi peter (thats my name), play like a pro in just 30 days without all that boring music theory and books. i can show you secrets which will make you a guitar god instantly"

if im right, the programme is called jamorama

guitarists, whats your take on this kind of email? what would be your first impression?

It's spam, don't reply. If its too good to be true, then it is too good to be true.

Oh, and anybody calling music theory "boring" and telling others the same thing, then claiming to be able to do wonders, I'll have a lot of reservations about his professional credibility.

This kinda stuff are trash la seriously. Spam is everywhere, I received several emails from some so-called executives willing to split their fortunes with me, unconditionally.
And there's even one from the ex-president of Nigeria claiming to give me some of his mega-fortune if i would sign a contract with him for some shit reason that I can't even be bothered to read.

Just delete them.

The best thing to do is not to reply cos this type of unknown/unsolicited email are highly likely to be spam. By replying u are tellin them ur email account is an active one. And soon u be finding urself receivin a barrage of nonsense in ur inbox. And of cos don open any attachments (Virus) as well. And testimonials that u have read can be jus made up, if everybody can shred in 30 days then the Steve Vais and Malmsteems of the world will be put out of business. Don believe everything u read, use ur discretion.

I don't know but I keep receiving mail from this fiend from hell by the name of zongruan7.
Marked him as spam already but it just keeps coming. Sends me all the decrepit nonsense by the shitload that's probably not even fit for the ladycatkiller.

i guess it's up to individual too...u can't loose a tummy in 30days if u do their exercise and continue the high carb diet. same goes along with SHRED, gotta lock urself in a cell for 30days.
