Hi, anyone knows where can i get good quality gold bass tuning machines, bridges, and other parts? Tried peninsula but they dont have atm. No brand preferences but quality is priority.

Hmm, if you don't mind chrome tuning machines and bridge, go TYMC. I saw Hipshot tuning machines and Hipshot A style bridge there when i went yesterday. Quality stuff. Not cheap though.

TYMC should be able to order any Hipshot parts you need, I've had em check out some items for pricing reference. Pretty similar to bestbassgear.com in terms of costs.

You're not pimping a Fodera, are you?

TY, SV and Davis have amongst the widest range of products. I scouted out gold hardware for my strat about 2 months ago.
TY has fantastic service, even though i asked many questions about the measurements and fitting etc, they were very patient. They have gold coloured bass aprts according to their old website, so shouldn't be a problem, mail them or something. Davis has mostly chrome stuff. Guitar Connection has a range of gold coloured hardware. Quality or not, i haven't tried so can't say. THen GUitar Workshop has a wide range of products as well, but service there is... to me, questionable.

I browsed through Warmoth site, price is better than most other online USA resellers.
Gold Schaller looks good but cost twice as much Gotohs, they got gold Schaller tuners too.

hey,is there any luthiers or ways for me to refinish my bass? i dont really like the color and would like to add some stripes to it.
anyone with any idea?
