hey , im wondering . If my strings dont align the poles on my pickup , will it affect anything?

cause on my squire strat , stock , the strings do not align with my pickups . actually , only the neck pickup , so its something like this

Do u feel that the high E string is kinda soft sounding?

imho if the strings are just slightly out of alignment at the neck pickup it's still as the strings move further at the neck than at the bridge and so the pickup will still read the strings without any sever dropout. As for the bridge side you'd like to have the pole pieces line up more accurately tho.

ACTUALLY, that's normal. Don't forget your guitar neck tapers at the end. So it's imperative that your neck pickup bobbins will not be directly below the strings as your string spacing is fixed at the bridge, and the pup sacings are usually based on the bridge. Also, Fender/Squier use the same pickup magnet spacing for all 3 pups. ONLY when you go boutique like Kinmans, do you have a narrower spaced neck pup.
