...continuing where the 2007 version left off 8-)

the aim of this thread is to share pics of gear (guitar/ FX/ amps/ etc) because we understand better (intrinsically) through pics. unlike a photo album only module, forum type entries allow documented comments/ interaction, hope everyone sees the upside of this mean. please consolidate pics here instead of starting a new thread simply to exclude others through brand name inclinations...

Reminder: do keep your pics as small as possible, as big as necessary.

Both my Epiphone, an 04' Standard and a 06' Custom, both MIC. All pickups stock and used Dimarzio cliplocks for both. Orange caps added to the custom by Beez...

New addition to the family. A sweet twangin' Telecaster! (MIJ)

It's ash bodied with a maple neck and fingerboard.
Stock Texas Special in the neck position and Lindy Fralins Blues Special in bridge.
The original saddles were replaced with brass counterparts.

I've always wanted a Tele, in particular, one with a maple neck and fingerboard.
I've seen some real good Tele deals in the classifieds, but most came with rosewood fingerboards.

Well,
The Texas Special pups are very warm, rounded and thick. The Fralins are hotter and much twangier.
Very good feel, and I'm wranging some really delectable tones from this baby. You just gotta love the twang.
It's really a world of difference from my Ibanez RG Prestige.
I deliberately wanted something from the other end of the spectrum, and this Tele just hits the spot. Can't get my hands off her.

My new acquisition - a DiMarzio YJM Signature Guitar Cable.

Yes, I admit that I am an unashamed sucker for this type of crap and have way more money than sense, but I *can* play approximately twice as fast as I could before when I use this cable - it's amazing.
