hows the jazz in the neck subversion?

im kinda thinking of getting either an alnico II or jazz for the neck, something medium output

this is my first encounter with a Jazz in my guitar & i must say that it rules big time! it's wonderful clean/ with loads of distortion/ twangs superbly when split. i'm beginning to like it more than my Full Shred... 8O

the Jazz lets the RGA'a mahogany's warmth through & that's important to me- i must hear my guitar's inherent tone in addition to what the pickup has to offer. output-wise, the Jazz has no problems keeping up with the JB, a wonderful pickup.

i spent a considerable amount fo time playing the RGA121/ 321 & decided on the former, basically because i'm not a flame top fan.

what made you buy this gibson?

photo-taking tip: if you are using a digi camera & snapping photos without a stand, use any other leverages like a cupboard/ chair/ etc to at least stabilise your hands 8)

haha..hmm..at first it was the looks of the les paul..then i went to try it..the neck was like so comfortable..haha..and the tone was what i liked..its like my dream guitar..haha yep..so i bought it..thanks for ur advice mr sub..will put that in mind :D

i did consider this dual-cut before moving on to the PRS. gibson made a bold move by deviating from their LP outline but this guitar didn't offer accessible upper fret access despite offering 2 more frets than its regular models. nevertheless, it's a good haul. 8)
