Me thinks of getting a midboost soon.

There's a demeter midboost for sale on the luther class ads.

Btw, that's a nice strat :D Is the JB Jr balanced in there? The pickup itself and the strats woods seem to suggest that there's an awful lot of treble in the tone :?

yep trying to get the midboost off him... hehehe

yep... i was reading the SD forums and one guy had exactly the same config and was complaining the Classic Stacks were too low output to match... but it didn't seem to be a problem for me. I wired all the pickups to tone pots so there's a load and therefore less treble. Furthermore using 250K pots... that really helps to cut down the treble as well.

i also placed the pickup distance pretty low from the strings.. i think the pull from the pickups were very strong.. can hear the end note pitch sharp when i play a note and leave it to sustain.

ah yes, healthy amounts of treble in short, nothing excessive. There's no problems usually with strats because of the resistance of the pots used... and furthermore, the pickup has adjustable pole pieces! :) never need to worry about such stuff.
