The colour's been discontinued for a while already, still, it's a really beautiful and elegant instrument.

$900 oddish ...

u bought it for $900 flat? inclusive of the ritter bag?
how much will it be if u buy it at sweelee? any difference?
just asking coz u must hv done your research before buying at ishibashi i suppose..

its good hear that ur bass is in perfect cond. aniwei, enjoy ur new toy.

swee lee carries selected MIJ fenders. get from ishibashi but u have to pay by debit card. they processed mine pretty quick, from payment to delivery took only about 3-4 days.

900 oddish inclusive of the ritter gig bag which alone is about 60-70.

the aerodyne is avaliable in SG only at certain retailers , which, sadly overpriced them by alot more which is the primary reason i refuse to order from them

I find G77's prices really reasonable.
The only reason I can think of why you consider those prices outrageous, is that you probably compared it to ishibashi's prices, which of course will be cheaper because it is a japanese retailer, and your aerodyne is a japanese made product too? Ever seen ishibashi's prices for other products? That is what I call outrageous. Put in the shipping costs and the fact that they are a really small retailer and I think the price is pretty ok. So if you don't like it, you're free to order from an online retailer like you have just done.
No offence to you stars.

Sorry guys, I just had to let this out... I'm in a bad mood.

its finally here.... 3mth wait is over!
cost me quite abit.

fantastic build quality ... very light and plays very well. no fancy options here. its a very simple guitar, the pickups scream and it sounds very good on clean as well. i think my jap strat will enjoy a set of emgs ,once my bank balance recovers from this purchase.
- the emgs have reminded me what a real noiseless pickup is. its so quiet i dont even know whether my amp is on or not.

Apologies. It's the white one that's discontinued then.

no offence taken bro. thats what i did. but i didnt want to name them because i felt it would be unfair to them.

hmm ? ya must understand it from the japanese context. ishibashi sells everything else at a much higher price due to import taxes on foreign made products. thats the primary reason why so much imported stuff in japan is expensive whereas domestically made (fender japan, aria pro II , ibanezes, ESPs) stuff are cheaper.

my justification for outrageous ? i understand that costs are involved and there is a profit motive for retailers as well. but in my book , a estimated 200-230% profit over thier basic raw material costs, which in this case , the guitar and the shipping, furthermore they obtain their stocks at dealer rates.

in any case, i am NOT ranting at their prices. they have thier cost structure and their pricing policies. suffice to say, their call , not mine. if i dont like that price. i just dont buy from them. which is exactly what i did. just trying to defend myself, i dont want to be percieved as a cheapo who went to great extent just to save a couple of bucks and deprive local retailers of business.

even then, i have had done prior market research, go ask swee lee staff what was the pricing for the AJB-65 after discount(prior to them discontinuing its sale) compared to the retailer you mentioned above.even the swee lee price is very very competitive in terms of comparison between the ishibashi price. really. its priced way above current market prices. even when compared to US retailers, they are stilling pricing it above US prices inclusive shipping.

if they out-price themselves , its their business decision, not mine.

I believe that JS1000 comes in Burnt Blue or Black Pearl.

Its the piezo (acoustic) switch. Switch up is piezo. Middle is piezo + normal sound, down is normal sound. the third knob is the piezo volume.
