The Ibanez S520EX guitar is a 2002 production model. Has been heavily modified; pups are Dimarzio Humbucker from Hell and Tonezone. Switch has been replaced with a 3 way. 2 on-on mini toggles have been added for coil split (inner coils) and out of phase. Tuners have been upgraded and finally, the floyd rose is a Gotoh Licensed Floyd Rose. Will be replacing the tone pot with a Varitone switch later.
Here are my efx... connected as follows:
Guitar --> Boss CS-3 --> Morley Bad Horsie 2 --> Ibanez TS9DX (Randolfed) --> Tech21 Sansamp TRI A.C. --> Demeter midboost --> Ibanez DE-7.
With the Tri AC, the microcube's distortion modes are pretty... well... bland sounding... so yeah, its set to clean to mimick my guitar's tone thru a flat-eq amp...
Hahaha... well, I really don't like digital efx... overdrive on digital stuff really sounds digital IMO.
I don't have any recording equipment penguin... I just line out either from the microcube or straight from my pedalboard... to a notebook computer running SONAR 2.2XL.
the DE-7 is one of the most overlooked delay units in the market. it has that warm tape-type tone to it which other more renowned brand names are lacking in. because it has that 'Ibanez' tag to it, people find it 'inferior' somehow.
