It listed for $3.5k but i got it during the swee lee sales, still burst my budget but hey it was hard to resist the temptation then... my mind told me resistance is futile.

It's a buddy guy signature model and guitarnub is right, the pickups are lace sensor gold. The older Eric clapton sig model use that, now replaced by noiseless pup.

brother riff: nice strat but you've got the string coiling round the post in the wrong direction (after looking closey). when the string leaves the nut, it's supposed to have a straight pull, yours wraps around the machine head at an angle. i hope my eyes are not deceiving me here or you intend to string your guitar this way. 8O

oh...sh**, you are right.. i din bother abt it, just change the string and coil away. gonna rectify it tonight.

Clapton now has newer guitars equipped with Fender's Vintage Noiseless pickups.
