Honestly speaking I think the space is more than enough for most live onstage or jamming applications unless of course you're John from RHCP
ala_carte, the carpet itself is not "velcro", velcro is the stuff you stick to the bottom of your pedals in order for it to stick to the pedalboard carpet. Velcro is made up of two portions, a harder portion, and a softer portion. The carpet found on the pedalboard acts as the portion. The "furrier" the carpet, the better the "Hooks" found on the rough side of the velcro will stick to it.
Sorry if I seem to be stating the obvious though
For best results I recommend industrial strength velcro, sticks really well! But the cons are that it can wear out stock carpets real quick and the cost of the velcro ain't cheap either!
But heavy duty lah might even be able to stick to Joey!
Ya . Industrail strength velcro is the best. But it will wear out ur carpet unless you get urs done with heavy duty carpet by the local "bob bradshaw". Don't buy 3M velcro....i got a friend last time and was severely dissapointed.
not nice at all ....i rather get a suitcase fella.
Rather than stomping you will be tippytoeing while doin the one leg trot !!
an ideal pedal board should have a flat base and better if tilted for that much 'comfy' angle !! With all the vibe on stage that will be a bad move indeed ....trust me on this one ..ouch ya..ones bitten twice shy !!
I think something like pedaltrains are nice. Just that i dont see the point of the holes. Which are there for you to organize your board right? Im a messy person.
Tilted at an angle like maybe 45 degress is nice. for me at least. some people dislike it. some do. oh well.. each to his own.
i cant really imagine hw big are mrmisse's boards. Can anyone be kind enough to post pics of the pedal board preferably the small one, with pedals/pedal as referance? pics paint a thousand words.
