Hi im new to soft.just wondering should i get the pearl Rt ? Is it a good beginner kit cause im a beginner.I heard review about the kit.some said its a good kit while the others says that its bettter not to buy the kit.does anybody know how much the kit cost ? my budget is around 600.some people said that ranking selling them cheap.true or false ?

Hi, firstly, swee lee are the only authorised distributor for pearl products and pearl rhythm traveller is good for the price but you shld consider 2 nd hand buys on soft classified, smth its 40 percent cheaper than the original price that makes it a good bargain, but if u are thinking of buying a rhythm traveller to have silent practise at home, i would recommend you yamaha dtxplorer which costs $1k with a drum pedal provided, just sharing my 2 cents, btw i think the budget drum set at ranking is carlos drum kits which sells for around $500.

Or u cld look for an old tama stagestar. Which cost ard $500 now ? Please correct me if i'm wrong.

Swee Lee: Pearl products.

Suggest u get PRT secondhand. No stock skins(hopefully!), no stock cymbals! plus u get cymbal mutes.
Cheapo cymbals like Paiste 201 definitely better than stock cymbals... Plus sometimes u get extra hardware. Look around soft more often..

But i'd prefer a carlos over PRT
