Paint chip on guitar

Dropped my B.C. Rich Warbeast and boom, a small 10cent coin paint chip appeared - exposing the coat of the wood, yes, i can see the wood. Well, im only like 14, so i have no idea what lacquer or what other things. Its black. Any help?

You can't really 'fix' it per se, but depending on your budget, there are a few options. If you don't want to spend any money, and you don't really care how it looks as long it's black, just paint it black with well, anything. Permanent marker, acrylic paint, spray paint etc. If you're willing to spend a bit more then send it in to the workshop, but it won't be cheap, and i'm not sure whether they'll touch up such a small area. Overall it's up to you. If you value the guitar and think it's worth it, send it in. IMO a small paint chip won't really affect the tone, only how it looks.

Its a gloss finish, right? Try multiple layers of Poly-urethane and 400 grit sandpaper. Sand in-between coats. It should look fine after.

Step 1, Sand clean of surface.
Step 2, Paint it with the color of your choice (Black i presume)
Step 3, Fill up the hole with layers of super glue (Yes, layers, not one big lump)
Step 4, Let it dry for a day.
Step 5, Level it with sand paper.
Step 6, Buff it with Brasso.
Step 7, Sit back and relax and enjoy the spanking new look. :D

Yes as faekildare said use nail polish it's good for touching up small areas :)
Or if you want a better touch up, use gloss paint, but try not to use spray paint, it will be very messy especially if you lack experience.
And wait for it to dry and then apply coats of poly.

If your not gonna spend $$ on a professional job, I rec you leave it as it is ... sort of a "war scar" - 1 set to your eventual relicing of your axe
