Package from USA not yet arrived

Thanks for the advice, Goose. U were using USPS Priority Mail Intl service? And how did u manage to get ur parcel in the end?
I've used Vpost many times before when I buy items from Ebay and if they don't ship to Singapore. If use Vpost, I'm paying for the shipping twice (one to Vpost USA warehouse and one back here)so might be a bit costly but yeah, so far no problems for me when I used Vpost.
If by next Wed, the package doesn't arrive, I might have to claim a refund. Lesson learnt. I might resort to using Vpost or use USPS Express Mail International (fast, can get within the same week that they shipped, few dollars more than PMI but worth it)when I buy stuff overseas.
Customs did get back to me but they can't help much and they redirect me back to Singpost. Bah.

Hi there, ordered some accessories online from Lisbon.
Took about more than 3 months,really happy when it arrived at last!
Have no idea why the delay though.
Currently waiting for another package from UK.
duno how long it will take this time.

Don't know whether this helps u in any way....just got my Fender from a seller in Talkbass...he shipped it using Fedex International Priority Mail on the 12th June about 10am US time....it reaches me here on 15th June at about 11.30am. I tracked it all the way from Virginia to Anchorage then to Tokyo-Narita and last to Singapore. I still think it is the fastest and safest way to ship but it will cost u.

I guess its up to the seller if he wants to use another courier service besides USPS. I used FedEx before n that one is fast and reliable also. But items taking up more than 3 mths to reach here? That to me is unacceptable.
Anyway, if my guitar neck does arrive eventually, it will be up for sale

I bought a guitar 2 years ago and it cost me 200usd in shipping from Fedex. Took around 5 days only from US to SG. I think its a good thing to spend a bit more than to save a few dollars with the expense of sleepless nights, stress and in the worst case scenario - not receiving the item and your refund.

I checked the tracking system and it has already reached here! Like finally, after a month. But sadly, the package containing a Allparts rosewood Tele neck will be up for sale since I do not have any use for it. Will be creating an ad for it soon.

IMHO slow delivery times are getting more & more common .. withthe exception of really good dealers like say Stewart McDonald or WD music ...

The one I'm selling here when it arrives is a Allparts Tele rosewood neck TRO model. 21 frets. 7.25 inch radius. No finish. No nut/tuners/neckplate.Got it shipped from USA to here for $225 sing. Selling for $200(firm).
